People Pleaser: Saying No

If you are a people pleaser, you know that saying "no" can feel uncomfortable.

In order for you to set healthy priorities, protect your time and energy

boundaries are needed!

So saying No is something we need to get comfortable with.

This list below has 5 different ways that you could use to say "No"

  1. I really appreciate you thinking of me, but I do not have the ability to prioritize that right now.

  2. I'm honored, but I can't.

  3. This is not for me, but I could refer you to someone else.

  4. No, I'm not going to be able to do that.

  5. I'm just not comfortable with ___, so no thank you.

Here's the thing, you don't always need to give a reason for saying No.

If you give a reason, from personal experience, sometimes people try to overcome the no by providing work-arounds.

So sometimes, just saying no, ends the conversation.
